Започаткування генетичних та генетико-селекційних досліджень в Україні (до 100 річчя від часу заснування Національної Академії Наук України)

Анотація

Наведено головні події, що започаткували наукові основи селекції, а також генетичні і генетико-селекційні дослідження в Україні на зламі ХІХ-го – ХХ-го століть. Розглянуто основні напрями і здобутки цих наук у системі закладів НАН України від часу її заснування (листопад 1918 р.) і до заборони генетичних досліджень та викладання класичної генетики в колишньому СРСР у серпні-вересні 1948 р. Проаналізовано наукову і науково-організаційну діяльність генетиків і селекціонерів України та їхній внесок у розвиток світової науки.
