Factors in experimental evolution of organisms (Faktori eksperimental'noi evolucii organizmiv) is an open access collection of scientific papers published by the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Vavylov Society of Geneticists and Breeders of Ukraine.

The collection of scientific papers covers a wide range of topics in the field of genetics and biotechnology, including genome evolution in natural and experimental conditions, general and population genetics, molecular genetics and genomics, applied genetics and breeding, human genetics and medical genetics, analysis and assessment of genetic resources, molecular and cellular biotechnologies, ecogenetics, bioinformatics and computer biology, as well as the history of biology and issues of teaching genetics, breeding and evolutionary theory.

Aim and objectives
The aim of the journal is to promote the development and dissemination of knowledge in the field of genetics and biotechnology, to publish modern scientific and applied research on genome evolution, molecular and population genetics, biotechnology, breeding, human genetics and medical genetics, as well as to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge between researchers, lecturers and practitioners.
Objectives:
- publication of experimental and review articles on topical issues of modern genetics and biotechnology;
- promotion of the development of genetic and biological sciences, dissemination of their theoretical and practical achievements in the interconnection of various branches of biology, bioinformatics, etc.;
- strengthening scientific ties between researchers, teachers and practitioners at the national and international levels.
