Abstract

Aim. Aim is to reveal presence of a genetic relationship between the traits that control length of the inflorescence and other features. Methods. Soybean hybrids from simple and complex crosses were sown in the first decade of May at the area of 1,0-5,5 sq. m. During the growing season and after harvest plants were analyzed for complex agronomic traits according to methodological guidelines. Results. With increasing length of the growing season lengthens inflorescence length, number of flowers in it and plant height. New forms with long inflorescence (up to 10 cm) on top of the plant and increased number of flowers in it (up to 50) were found. Conclusions. It is proved the presence of relationship between the length of growing season and length of inflorescence.
